Paddy Power Renews Deal With BCLC

Following the extension of Paddy Power's existing partnerships with French sports betting operator PMU, this Irish gambling operator announced earlier this week that they has also renewed their contract with British Columbia Lottery Corporation's site PlayNow and also secured an agreement with Spanish betting operator Reta.

Paddy Power has been providing B2B operations to British Columbia since 2012 and this renewed partnership with the BCLC will see them offer their fixed-odds sports betting with the borders of the British Columbian province. Because of their relationships with Canadian government agencies, Paddy Power does not accept CA players outside of this province.

According to Monica Bohm, Vice President of the BCLB's online gaming operations, Paddy Power has helped their brand PlayNow.com turn its sportsbook into a competitive offering with its players receiving the best possible experience.

Paddy Power have also announced that they have joined the World Lottery Association as an associate member. They went on to say that they consider this a great honor and being accepted as an associate member is indicative of the company's dedication to constantly expanding and ensuring that they offer the most comprehensive betting services to the global lottery industry.

After the recent Paddy Power/Betfair merger, the company is now the second largest iGaming company in the world, number one being the recently merged Ladbrokes/Coral company. This has been shown in the other announcement from Paddy Power this week that they have secured a partnership agreement with the Spanish betting operator Reta. This will see them supplying their sports betting services to this Spanish company.

The renewed contract with BCLC and the new partnership with Reta has followed the extension of Paddy Power's existing partnership with French sports betting operator PMU and their Slovakia based deal with Nike. All together this really does put this sportsbetting operator out in front and gaining global recognition for their product.
