PlayPearls is a relatively new online casino software provider, and they have specialized in both the live dealer market and the mobile casino market. They are licensed in Costa Rica, and they also have offices in Malta, though it's unclear if they also have an online gambling license there. This company has not been around long enough to build up much of a reputation, so all you can really go on at this point is how well their software responds, their game selection and overall presentation of the sites that use the platform. In general, it's looking like this could be a good software package to play with if their operators prove to be trustworthy.

The game selection at PlayPearls is about 60 percent slots and about 40 percent table games. The slots cover a wide range of themes, though many of them look like they were based on well-known slots that have already been established in the industry. While that might be a good way to try to compete in the short-run, it shows a lack of creativity and innovation that doesn't bode well for the long-term health of this company. With that having been said, none of the slots seem to have terrible graphics or give players a horrible experience, but they don't necessarily stand out as being exceedingly above-average either.
The selection of table games with this company, however, is pretty impressive. They have several variations of blackjack and casino poker along with a complete array of classic casino titles. Some of the more traditional table games like Red Dog that don't usually get much attention have been spiced up with progressive jackpots as well. Live dealer games are also available for Baccarat and roulette, and a handful of other uncommon table games really round out their overall game selection.
Plenty of other titles are also available like instant win/scratch card-style games and a number of video poker options. The paytables available on the video poker tables are pretty favorable, and in most cases you're dealing with the full-pay versions of the games. They also feature at least one version of video poker that we're pretty sure isn't offered anywhere else online right now.
While the game selection is impressive, one thing you'll have to get used to with this software is that some of the games load fairly slowly when you play from your Internet browser. They load with a normal amount of speed via mobile, but the Unity engine plugin that a handful of their games is based on does not work particularly well at this stage in the game because it's a relatively new technology. However, all of their other games load fairly quickly.
It's hard to say what the security is like with PlayPearls because they do not publish information about independent audits or certifications. With that having been said, to apply and receive a license in Costa Rica, you do have to follow a bare minimum level of testing, so we can assume that they pass the bare minimum. As for anything past that, it's anyone's guess at this point until they provide the public with more information.
There aren't very many well-known sites that use the PlayPearls software. However, the selection of bonuses at the sites that are known for using it are adequate, but not impressive. They seem to average a welcome bonus worth about 200 percent, give or take 50 percent. Not a lot of other promotions are advertised aside from regular reload bonuses that seem to be emailed directly to their players because there is no specific mention of the promotions on their websites.
